These are beautiful well designed hooks. The chrome finish is flawless and durable. Once the inner bracket is properly installed, the hook (as shown) will be firmly and evenly attached to the wall. Got one and immediately ordered another one. Even after several months of daily use with heavy terrycloth bathrobes or wet towels in your hands, they stay securely in place. I suspect the same goes for Gatco's entire product line. The installation guide is simple and clear. It took a while to install as I installed them into plaster and rotary walls using appropriate wall anchors (sold separately) and plumbing resin. However, most users will likely install them in drywall, and the strong anchors that come with hooks make installation easy and keep the mounting bracket secure. The screws (included) used to attach the mounting bracket are long enough to go through the drywall and into the studs, completely eliminating the need for wall anchors.
