While I would think (although anything is possible) that I am well past the age of someone to "choke" me, this belt fails. This is by far the most comfortable belt I have ever worn. I wear this belt every day. Where it fails, if you will, is that it doesn't get as tight as I'd like. If I work during the day, go shopping and lead a normal life, my pants won't fall out on their own. I get a plumber's rupture from time to time (with all due respect to plumbers), but more importantly, I can take my pants off without unbuckling the strap. It's been about 6 months since I've been using this product and I can count less than 5 times where it's been close enough that this hasn't happened. In any case, if your goal is comfort, this belt is for you, especially if your colleagues are not of the age to "choke" on you.
