These are perfect for the height of the kitchen worktop. We originally bought 2 sets (4 chairs) but found we only needed one set for the space. The assembly instructions are "good", but you also need some common sense. They were easy to put together, just follow the instructions carefully and use common sense not to force anything into place - like the stabilizing ring - we had to flip it over and it locked in place nicely but the instructions don't say that. and the piece is not labeled as it fits between the legs. It took me about 45 minutes for my husband and I to set up 2 chairs.
