This is a good product for the price. We were in dire need of a monitor when ours suddenly stopped working and all the monitors in the store were at least double the price with terrible reviews. I like that the parent monitor doesn't make any noise when you press the buttons. Vox mode does a good job of not being activated by her white noise machine or lullabies. Night vision of acceptable quality. It also has decent battery life. It takes me to get ready in the morning, her full afternoon nap and all evening before bed on a full charge (so about 6-7 hours a day). Of course, if you leave it in VOX mode, it will work longer. My only complaint is that the camera itself is so light and thin that it has to be lugged around on its own cable. It really needs something to fix it. Unfortunately we are giving this back and forth with my daughter's guardian so I can't just fix it and leave. Every night I spend a few minutes wrestling with the camera and attaching things to the cables so the camera doesn't pull backwards/sideways when I let go. This makes it very difficult to center it exactly how you want it. If you want to fix it and forget about it, double sided tape is the way to go. In our case, we'll probably order a second camera, so we didn't save much in the end.
