This isn't the typical rashguard you get at Target for example. It fits snugly like a rashguard should, it doesn't fit loosely. My 5 year old son needs help getting dressed and undressed but that also means he's not going anywhere when he's swimming and active. It's more like a second skin, which is what I was looking for.
