Do not do that! There is great regret here.

I find it difficult to sit on this chair with the wheels attached. I'm 5'8", but even at my shortest height, I can't sit comfortably with my feet on the floor. Also, the wheels move at the slightest touch, so if you're on a hard floor, your chair will roll in across the room the moment your foot touches the chair so I took the wheels off and put it on the carpet, that makes it easier/more comfortable for me to sit down but obviously I can't drive now if I have to.I got used to it remembered when the plunger suddenly died one afternoon in the middle of my work day. I'm far from my weight limit and have only had a bowel movement for about 3 months. It's only ever been used for office work, no idea. "Why is it off one day? Accidentally sagged?Ironically the chair now sits too low.I put the wheels back thinking it might be just right and they said they would send me a new part but it will not be available until April 19th.
