Good fit - comfortable to wear. Great for squats and deadlifts. This is not suitable for general use as a hiking shoe. Too uncomfortable outside of the gym. Not suitable for outdoor use. Low price but high build quality and design. Shoes like these, which cost between $100 and $150, seem grossly overpriced for the little extra benefits they can offer, except maybe for durability under heavy use. If you're in the 150-185 pound range and don't intend to lift more than 300-400 pounds, you should be fine. For the price they are unbeatable. The only note is that they are quite difficult to put on and take off, but that's not the main thing. Once you lace up, you forget about this little annoyance.
