I wish I had read the reviews before buying. Mine doesn't work at all. It's been saying and saying since I first installed it that my battery is at 4.3 whether it's charged or not. Also, it didn't have any documentation explaining the installation or anything like that. I will never order this product again.

Works well but for my use on an old machine without a voltmeter the refresh rate was too high. (Values fluctuated wildly.) Adding a medium sized electrolytic capacitor on the back took away the hassle. Works well, easy to read, and I'd rather update it too fast than too slow. just to let you know

Easy to Install on EZGO 36V Electric Golf Cart. Good big bright numbers - easy to read even in broad daylight (haven't seen it in direct sunlight yet). Accuracy tested on a professional digital multimeter - excellent. Very useful for monitoring battery status for infrequent, irregular use and charging. Highly recommended.

Supplied in protective packaging. Directions simply say black to negative and red to positive. The gauge itself is sheathed with wires screwed into the case and appears to be fairly solid (no solder on the computer chip to move and break) while mounted on my kids Razor bike. It's easy to read and bright, but from different angles you have to hope you see what's on your mind.

It's very easy to install and works great. That's a deviation of 0.2 to 0.3, but stable, so no problem. Connects directly to the batteries with the lamp's power cable. I put mine where the radio would be as there is no radio in my car. Pull the cable back under the carriage into the battery compartment and secure it. This display uses so little power that leaving it on all the time is not a problem.

I originally bought this to monitor the battery on my garden tractor. I connected it to the ignition switch. When it works, I see both tension and traction. I later added a button so I can see what the battery voltage is doing without having to use my keys. This is a great voltage monitor for the price. I plan to add one to my jet ski and RTV connections as well as window edges.

I installed it in my Club Car Precedent and it was easy to connect. I had to add a spade connector to each of the two wires attached and simply connect it to the available wiring on the dash. I had to make my own paper template to mark the plastic of the dashboard to cut out the hole but it only took a few minutes. Ultra small meter. This is the second one I've bought. The first one still works perfectly after 3 years. Someone asked how much current does this meter draw? I measured with two different gauges. digital and analogue. Here is the answer. At 48 volts it draws 5 milliamps. We do math (Ohm's law). Voltage = Current x Resistance. In terms of installation it should be fairly easy if you can make your own template and know how to use a dremel. Wiring couldn't be simpler as one wire goes to the positive terminal of your battery and the other to the negative terminal. This is the only reason for the 1 star rating.
