Review on πŸ‘ž Men's Brown Florsheim Lakeside Slip-On Shoes by Joshua Pilla

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comfortable and stable pumps

Although my Florsheim brand was "my father's shoes", I saw them among dozens of options of this type and for some reason decided to try them. I'm very glad I did. This is my second pair and luckily they are the same as the first. This is an excellent and very versatile shoe. I use them extensively on my center console fishing boat where they provide good stability and grip when standing and casting, for housework, town wear and so on. They are very comfortable without socks, which surprisingly is not the case with some pumps. I'm also very partial to Sperrys and have had good luck with other big brands but this is my favorite. They have more stability and, important to me, a lot more cushioning in the forefoot than the Sperry. In my free time I prefer the relaxed fit and flexibility of a pair of well-worn Sperries, but for work I prefer these.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • I don't remember
