I've been using kinesiology tape occasionally for 11 years. Kinesiology tape has been used to treat shoulder, knee, iliotibial band, and forearm (tennis elbow) problems and plantar fasciitis. I've tried many brands (including Rocktape, KT Tape Original, Pro and Extreme, Kinesio) but tried the REFUN 4 pack because of its low price. Adhesion, comfort, water resistance at altitude. In my opinion it holds up well with many of the bigger brands. It's almost as good as the KT Tape Extreme. However, this is about 1/3 the price of KT Tape Extreme (per roll). I have sensitive skin, but the adhesive works with almost every kinesiology tape I've tried. REFUN is suitable for swimming, strength training, cycling and running. Like all kinesiology tapes, it can stick to clothing and pull away from the edges. I cut this part off and rounded the corners to prevent further gluing. I expect to go at least 4-5 days each time I use a tape unless I have plantar fasciitis - it's difficult to keep the sealant on the sole. (It is important to apply to clean, non-oily skin). I could hold out for more than a week, and sometimes I succeeded. I shower, go into a hot bath and it sticks. Simply pat dry with a towel to avoid snagging on the edge. As kinesio tape users know, if you tear off a piece, it won't stick. If you want to take the tape off, it comes off fairly easily without ripping out body hair or causing irritation. Just don't pull against the direction of your body hair. Adhesive residue can be easily removed with rubbing alcohol. My two shortcomings regarding the REFUN brand: 1) limited color selection. I would like more options and templates. 2) Pre-cut strips do not separate as cleanly as other pre-cut brands. Overall: GREAT VALUE. I become a regular customer.
