Review on 🎨 Exploring Infinite Sketching Possibilities with Derwent Chromaflow Multicolor Professional Sketching Pencils by Sasha Hsiao

Ideal for adult coloring book enthusiasts.

I have a lot of high quality colored pencils like Prisma, Polychromos, Pablos but I wanted to see if as someone who only paints in coloring books I would be happy with the performance of the cheaper pens. I usually use Polychromos because I find Prismas break too easily and are not the best pens although the colors are the best. This new Derwent's set is excellent value for money, the colors are bright and buttery soft. The layering and blending is very good once you get used to the pencils. I personally think if Derwent released a bigger batch of these and made them open source I would switch to them because they are good enough and would save a lot of money. There is a lot of snobbery about crayons and when it comes to blending and quality obviously higher quality pens are fine but for those of us who color in coloring books do we really need to spend that much? . I don't think so, I think most people would be very happy with them and would love to use them. The only downside at the moment is the fact that there is only one set of 24 and I want to see at least 72 and I want them to be freely available as well. I wonder what Derwent is planning, I hope they will expand this range, for example I will buy them. Try them, you won't be disappointed.
