I've searched all over the internet and read various articles and opinions on how to scare birds away from your home. I bought new patio furniture from Costco and the birds made a mess. I also have birds that are constantly perched on my lifeguard chair which is on my dock by the lake. I have a new waterproof deck which I also try to keep the birds away from as it gets out of hand with feathers, bird droppings etc. So. After going online to see some of the things that could help were installing strong magnets around the outside of your home and other outdoor locations where you don't need them. Apparently, strong magnets rob birds of their sense of direction, preventing them from wandering around wherever you put them. Finally, I read a lot of reviews on magnets and thought it might be worth a try. I went with them because the reviews were good, there are so many magnets in one order and they weren't expensive. I am very happy to report that not only are they really very strong magnets but they have greatly reduced the constant bird problem I have had. Who would know?
