Great product idea, just need to use non conductive material for the housing.

This is a great product with one exception, the outer housing should be made of non conducive material, every time they touch each other it shorts out and shuts my receiver down, I fixed this issue by adding red and black heat shrink to the housings.

Pros

Offers a more secure connection than traditional speaker wire terminals.

Cons

May not work with all stereos or home theater systems
