I bought this cap to replace the water bottle cap I originally bought. The original climbing bottle was only bought in January and the plastic cap broke after a few days of use. The water bottle itself appears to be able to withstand minimal shaking, but the caps will NOT withstand ANY shaking. This lid, which I bought to replace the original, lasted a few weeks longer, but has now also broken in half. The company replaced the original with a new cap after the first break, but I'm still waiting for news of this second failed cap. I'll update this if they get it right. I requested two additional caps because I knew this would continue.
