Since it uses the same frequency band as Wi-Fi 802.11ac (frequency 5GHz), they both will interfere with other wireless connection. . This will cause the iogear HD signal and Wi-Fi AC to drop and lose connections, and you will think the iogear is broken. I've been using my wireless Iogear for over 2 years and it was working fine until I upgraded my wired model to Wi-Fi 802.11ac and found issues like losing connection on the TV screen and my internet getting very slow and freezing. I isolated the problem by turning off the modem and vice versa. So, Iogear, what would be the solution to this problem?
