Good but intermittent shutdown/green screen

This product works well most of the time. From time to time I get a flashing green screen as if the connection dropped. Reconnecting but streaming content is interrupted or seconds of live content and audio are lost. Very annoying. This happens at both inputs of the device. The transmitter and receiver are in line of sight and about 10 feet apart. Edit: The device seems to have heard my complaint and uses the green screen more often. vain. It gets worse every month

Note that it uses the same frequency band (5 GHz) as Wi-Fi 802.11ac

Since it uses the same frequency band as Wi-Fi 802.11ac (frequency 5GHz), they both will interfere with other wireless connection. . This will cause the iogear HD signal and Wi-Fi AC to drop and lose connections, and you will think the iogear is broken. I've been using my wireless Iogear for over 2 years and it was working fine until I upgraded my wired model to Wi-Fi 802.11ac and found issues like losing connection on the TV screen and my internet getting very slow and freezing. I isolated the

Well, it's a return to Revane. The transmitted signal is interrupted.

I connected the transmitter to the TV according to the instructions, the signal disappears about every 60-120 seconds - and I'm talking on the main TV. I didn't even try to set up the remote TV with the receiver. What if I can't get a consistent signal on my main TV? I checked iogear.com/support and the only thing I can find about bad signal is related to remote wireless TV and IR blaster. Nothing about the main channel not being able to support the signal on the TV. For reference, my DirecTV…

  • The cable is shorter than other picks

I just ordered a third one for our office as they *just work* and work great for us and I have one at home that connects to a mining rig. I literally have no idea how they transmit their signals. You would think it was IR since the devices have a blaster and receiver, but during the presentations I noticed people had laptops/bodies blocking the direct path and STILL keep working. They worked seamlessly with Powerpoint/Excel on corporate videos. The mining farm at home has one, and even in that…

Unreliable - Home Audio

I wanted to share my main TV screen with a TV in another room. The TVs were about 30 feet apart and separated by a partial wall of paneled wood spikes and wall panels. While this product can operate at this distance and without any partitions (hence the single star), it has proven to be extremely unreliable in this case. for example with only one random continuous connection. The picture quality has deteriorated. I packed these items and they were returned to Revain with no problems. Then I…

Perfect! Easy setting.

I was looking for a solution to install a TV on my patio without running a coax, HDMI or Ethernet cable. I did some research on the internet and IOGEAR seemed to be the best option for me. And it works great. Installation was very easy, almost plug and play. I hooked it up to a cable box in the bedroom and to a Sony TV outside. I love that I can still plug in the TV in my bedroom. HDMI cables are used for both TVs. You can watch both TVs at the same time but are limited to the same channel. You

Most reliable I've found

I've tried several different devices: Brite-View Air SyncHD - worked great for about 2 years but never got it seen switched off, it burned. Actiontec My Wireless TV - I liked the idea of adding other receivers and the GUI was really good, but it's a bit finicky and doesn't work with everything. my house and the receiver is downstairs, works fine and turns off depending on the signal coming from the tv with the receiver so it shouldn't burn out. IOGEAR has only one small problem: the HDMI*…

Spotted signal. Far from advertised distance

This is a good product. This works for me 95% of the time, but doesn't come close to the advertised distance. I bought this to transmit the signal from outside to the TV I have in the gazebo. The pavilion is literally on the other side of the wall where I placed the transmitter. There are no obstructions other than a regular wall (brick, plaster, metal or similar. Just regular wood/drywall) and the receiver is about 7 feet from the transmitter through the wall. Initially I placed the receiver…

Wireless & Streaming Audio Error

My AT&T U-verse cable box is in the living room and is connected to the TV. I use a U-verse wireless cable box that plugs into my TV in the kitchen where there is no cable outlet. I bought this unit hoping to get rid of the wifi cable box in the kitchen and save some money in the long run. I connected the IOGear transmitter between the cable box and the TV using the built-in splitter. . The receiver was in the kitchen and connected to my TV. The transmitter and receiver are about 20 feet apart…
