We took this on the cruise. We snorkeled in the Caribbean around the reef system that stretches from Cozumel to Roatan. The water is crystal clear, but these cameras weren't up to the task of capturing clear shots. Yes, they are waterproof. Yes, they actually take photos. But they don't take good pictures. I actually took a few shots with them while we were out of the water as well. Those photos didn't look good either. I would recommend getting some sort of waterproof case for your iPhone and just taking photos with your phone. We will definitely do that next time.
