The fact that it's wireless is amazing, but that's not all. The battery is very powerful, a charge lasts about 2 hours. The great thing is that you can plug them in if they die on you (which only happens if you never charge them between cuts) and they'll charge up as you use them. I also have a designer and the best thing about magic clips is that the charging cable is thicker and longer (8ft) which is perfect and strong. Another improvement is the offset toothed blade, which is ideal for blending. The fact that these blades can't have any play is just amazing, especially for getting the first line out of bald spots etc without having to wear out the trimmers. BE CAREFUL if you don't have a gap between them because they are very sharp and you don't want to cut people. They are perfect which is why I give them a full 5 stars. The packaging is great, and as a plus they come with 1/2 and 1 1/2 guards and more to complete the perfect disappearance. I love this hair clipper, it looks great, is very well made and feels great in the hand.
