Review on πŸ“š iGoober Amber Book Light: Rechargeable Blue Light Blocking Reading Lamp with Clip - 3 Brightness Settings for Eye Care, Sleep Aid - Ideal for Kids, Bookworms, and Kindle by Chad Mills

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good light but with one fatal flaw: loud click

This reading lamp is almost perfect.almost. It emits a VERY warm amber light that is pleasing to the eye and unobtrusive. There are three different intensity levels, with the lowest being enough for reading but not enough to disturb those around you. Lightweight, long battery life. Everything is fine. The problem, and a significant one, is that the on/off button is very noisy. This is a button that clicks loudly every time it's turned on, off, or increased in intensity. If you're using book light, there's a good chance you don't want to bother those around you. When using it on the lowest setting, I have to click THREE times to turn it off, making a loud click each time. It's definitely enough to wake up my lightly sleeping wife. I don't understand why they didn't make a slide switch. If it was quiet, that would be fine.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • The list will be long.
