My son wears a size 10/12 so I chose a size 14/16 based on reviews saying the set runs small . Unfortunately, the pants fit perfectly and the shirt was too small. It was 14/16, which fit like 7/8. When he raised his arms, his entire torso was exposed. If we got taller, the pants would be too big. So unfortunately there is no real solution here. He likes the pants so we kept the set. That's the only reason it got over 1 star.
