Went like clockwork!
To be honest I only bought this because my aquarium was growing board algae and I read it would kill them if applied directly. I pulled out the plant that the algae was growing on, used a brush to add just the right amount for my tank size, and applied it directly to the algae. It was like magic, after 48 hours all the algae on the board was gone and my plant looked healthier than ever!
