I liked that this laptop stand is very well designed, easy to assemble and attractive. Unfortunately, although the description says it supports 17" laptops, my 17" gaming laptop would not fit properly. Specifically, the laptop support surface isn't long enough and the back of my 17" laptop sags. This causes the front of the laptop to rise above the front supports, making it unstable. I was able to fix this by installing 2 felt-padded sticks on the back holding the laptop and raising the back slightly so that the front of the laptop stayed under the stops. I'm sure it's ideal for a 15" laptop or smaller, but be aware of this issue if you have a 17" laptop. Even after my "fix" I don't have full confidence in its stability. You need a 10 inch laptop surface or something, this one is only 9 inches and that makes a big difference on a larger laptop.
