I like that there is no collar. Collars, especially leather ones, ruin my beard and are uncomfortable. The leather is heavy and quite durable. This vest isn't just designed for beauty, it's designed to stand up to every test. I bought the XL which I usually wear. It adapts to everything without play. If you really want to use the concealed carry function, you should buy a size up, as the gun creates a noticeable bulge. The vest easily hides the inner belt holster and pistol, which I prefer to the vest pocket anyway. I've worn this vest quite a bit and haven't found anything I don't like about it yet. I recommend this product without hesitation.
