I was hoping this would stop my naughty cat from jumping and/or urinating on the dining table. He's still generally bouncing around the table, although maybe not as often, but he's definitely stopped peeing where I put the tape. The first night I taped down all the surfaces he jumped on; The next morning the tape was covered in paw prints, LOL (Bad Kitty!). Now he doesn't jump around the table as much and doesn't write in places where the tape is. But for a quick jump, the tape doesn't hold my nasty pushy kitty back as much as I'd hoped. On the other hand, in this case it would be very difficult to detach the table or leave a sticky residue, which was not the case. So I think it might work on kittens, but not so much on mine.
