This size fits perfectly. The material is soft, not scratchy. However, I found the clasps more difficult than most garter belts. Most suspenders, once worn, will stay on at least until you enter another room. The clasps wouldn't even stay closed on the thinnest part of the thigh, which was very disappointing. I tried buttoning it up to see if it would work, but it wouldn't stay buttoned up. I obviously bought it for a vacation and it just didn't last as expected.
