I ended up buying mittens instead of gloves and chose these as they seem to be good quality but aren't ridiculously expensive. like first class gloves. Having worn them a few times this winter I am very happy with these gloves as I use more high tech gore-tex materials in all my ski gear. I've just bought a top quality ski bag and I think it was money well spent but I find these gloves to be as good as any at twice the price.
