Be careful with the lanyard attached
My husband ordered some type of cable to be installed after the mount was already installed. To install the cable, we had to unlock the bracket. Be careful when pulling the two cords to unlock the brackets on either side! My husband is overbearing and impatient so he pulled really hard until he snapped one of the strings which had us wrestling with a screwdriver to try and loosen the locking mechanism. We decided to remove the TV from the mount so I could build a strong rope so this wouldn't happen again if we had to connect/disconnect something again.
