Rating updated. Mesh too fine for flour and powder

Updated. I wouldn't buy again due to the difficulty in pushing all purpose flour and sugar through the sieve. The "bowl" is too short and wide, so if only a small amount goes through the sieve, the flour and sugar will make a huge mess. Cons: * The sieve is too thin to sift brown sugar. deeper. I like sifting flour through a sieve to get the job done faster. With this sieve I feel I have to be very careful not to spill the flour when I throw it. Sift about 1 cup of flour at a time. * If you only want to have a colander in your kitchen, this is not the best choice as the colander is too thin for many jobs. Pros: * Mesh is really good. . The sieve is ideal for sifting flour of any kind and powdered sugar, but because the "bowl" of the sieve is so short, I have to grind the flour and sugar with my knuckles or a spoon. It's like a delicate operation with this sieve. *It seems solid and well made, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Unsure
