My car is a 1990's sports car so there aren't many things on the dashboard. especially as a GPS since I just moved to a new city. I was looking for a product that would allow me to easily attach and detach my phone to a fixed, stable position. I was thinking of a suction cup mount for the windshield or an adhesive clip for the top of the dash. I thought I was unlucky as most of the products were either out of my price range or had too few reviews to consider. had tried. Then LAX Orbit popped up in the search and I knew I made the right choice. I was immediately attracted by the low price and good reviews. Ordered immediately and I must say that this is a simple but very effective gadget. It comes with a magnetic plate that you attach to the inside of your phone case or directly to the back of your phone (if you're the pushy type of person who doesn't want to use a case) and then the mount itself that snaps into your air vents. For the price I wasn't expecting much at all. Didn't think the magnets would hold. The color surprised me as my two expectations were not only exceeded but exceeded. Orbita is a very high quality mount and the magnets are so strong. As someone who enjoys a spirited ride in a Japanese sports car, I can count on the phone not slipping or detaching from the cradle no matter how much I lean to one side or how hard the car accelerates. The air conditioner vent clips are well made and although the vents on my car are made of flimsy plastic, they did not damage my car. This mount may not be for everyone, but I am sure it will suit most people. this will do the work (and then something else). Good job LAX!
