Very soft and smooth. Good quality.
I am deducting 1 star as the name suggests it is wool although it is mainly polyester and thinner than expected. However, I think polyester is good for kids socks. My kids are picky about toe seams and scratchy socks. It's an incredibly silky feel. And the seam on the finger is not full of holes. I also like that these are larger socks as they cover more of the leg during winter activities. I would buy again. I had no issues with the size and my kids have wide to very wide feet. Haven't experienced any peeling either.
