My face loves the silky feel of silk pillows. It's cool and comfortable at the same time. This is definitely an improvement over cotton pillowcases. The only downside is that silk is not machine washable. But luckily I found a routine that works for me. I hand wash them with warm water and some soap. I don't twist them, I just shake them in the sink and then wring them dry. And I rent them out in the guest bathroom to air dry or hang outside when the sun is shining. They dry very quickly. Overall this set seems to be of good quality and I've been using it for almost a month, no signs of wear and not a single protruding thread. Good quality for this price.
