"Real " diving strap

Hey, what can I say, this is a real diving watch for a marathon watch. If you are looking for a strap that fits real dive watches and not the dive watches currently sold for desktop divers, then this is for you. It's initially thick and a little stiff, but I have no doubts about its durability and functionality. And yes, it smells like vanilla. If your wrist is less than 6.5 inches I would pop in and look at Barton silicone (great straps).

Pros
  • Endurance test results
Cons
  • Protection

Durable, worth the price.

Great watch strap. After wearing a $10 silicone bracelet for about a week, my dog knocked my watch off my wrist to the ground while we were playing. A cheap needle flew right out of my ears! Thankfully, it wasn't a huge drop, as slots don't really like hitting hard surfaces at high speeds. After hearing and reading about the Marathon watch, I immediately ordered this bracelet. It's much stronger and seems durable. Worth a little extra for the peace of mind that when my watch is on my wrist it's

Pros
  • One year trial

  • Hard to tell

Worth every penny - repair tools and kits

I ordered a Chinese competitor product at half price and returned it. Paying twice as much for a marathon bracelet is actually more profitable. The quality is great and it's comfortable as soon as I put it on. The only thing to watch out for is the spring bars. They come with excellent spring bars WITHOUT FLANGES, but unless your watch is drilled all the way around the lugs, you can't reuse the bars when changing the strap: you'll have to cut them off. to get them. Use spring bars with flanges…

Great Scent: Watch Accessories

The strap looks solid and strong; However, it has an overwhelming vanilla flavor. I was dying to keep them but even after leaving them outdoors for almost a month the smell was still too strong. When you first opened the package, the smell was just extreme; I could smell it on my arm just by touching the strap for a few seconds. I love vanilla ice cream, but I hated that smell. If it had no smell at all I would definitely keep the tape. Whether you agree with its vanilla flavor is a matter of…

Pros
  • Keeping my fists
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

I was reluctant to buy this strap at such a discount compared to the official Marathon website for fear that it might be fake but my fears were unfounded. It looks and feels like a real marathon harness, and best of all, it smells just like it! It has the characteristic vanilla smell of high-quality vulcanized rubber watch straps. It's also chunky and a bit stiff - it's not a cheap silicone strap! The yellow strap looks great on my Citizen 200m Solar Diver watch which if it ever dies I will be…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Damaged

There are no protrusions on the strap pins so once you put it on you can't take it off! I usually change all the straps myself, but for this strap I had to go to SEVERAL watch shops to try and remove the strap, many of them said they didn't have the equipment to remove it because almost all the watch pins need to be serrated, but this one is not. In the end I finally found someone who can but had to break the strap to take it off leaving 2 scratches in the process. And no, it was definitely not

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not sure

Don't wear a watch if you don't want to wear it until you die!

I wish I had read more of these reviews because I put a belt on and now I don't know how to take it off. The pins are awful and there is nothing to grab so your spare tool won't be able to grab them. I have no idea how to get it off and I'm pretty sure if I ever do the pins will be bent like crazy and I won't get a refund. If you buy this and wear it, you'd better never change the strap again because you'll be stuck to your watch to death. since they have external access points to remove the…

  • Sturdy finish

  • Sad hardware

Great strap - comparable to Isofrane etc.

As someone who doesn't like straps (nothing personal, just uncomfortable for me), I've found myself less and less wearing a 2004 Marathon SAR dive watch, since the bracelet was a lapel. I did the same thing a few years ago with the new Tudor Pelagos diver's watch. Great bracelets, but just not my thing. I replaced the Tudor strap with the Isofrane strap about a year and a half ago and the wear time has increased exponentially. I've seen Marathon brand straps but didn't like the $60 MSRP (yes…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Very expensive

Odor can be an issue.

This watch band is very, very comfortable, fits great, has adjustment holes for my small wrists and feels more durable than some other silicone straps available (hopefully at least). The smell is pleasant vanilla, as described. Some reviews say it's incredibly strong, others say it really isn't that bad. I'm sort of in the middle. For me it's not necessarily STRONG, but non-stop. I'll tell everyone on the fence about this - I smell vanilla EVERY time my hand comes close to my face. I'm not sure

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was
