There are no protrusions on the strap pins so once you put it on you can't take it off! I usually change all the straps myself, but for this strap I had to go to SEVERAL watch shops to try and remove the strap, many of them said they didn't have the equipment to remove it because almost all the watch pins need to be serrated, but this one is not. This watch band is very, very comfortable, fits great, has adjustment holes for my small wrists and feels more durable than some other silicone straps available (hopefully at least).
