Can't charge after 4 months

Bought this to use when traveling to family and also to keep in the diaper bag if we go out. It was great with the smaller bottles and then took a little longer with larger bottles when we got to the 6 oz. After 4 months of evening/overnight use (about 3 bottle warms a day). I've been very careful to close the plug any time Rensing out the bottle warmer and have not submerged it in water but after 4 months it has completely stopped charging. Just in time to be past the 90 day warranty. Initially was planning to recommend to any of my pregnant friends to have this for on the go, but now I'm not so sure maybe I should have brought a better brand.
