Nothing like the gray version I bought last year.
Last year I ordered the 281Z Military Boot Socks in gray and they were fantastic so I decided to order the same ones in brown. Really bad decision. The brown version feels thinner and the elastic stretches after a day of use. Really disappointed. I will order another gray version and hope they are still good. I hope it was just a bad batch.
