Comfortable handguard

Bought these for my 17 year old daughter (5ft 9in) who does colorguard. We tried large but they were too loose, medium seems to suit her much better. We will update if they don't stay in place. I'll add a photo of the bruises they were hoping to patch. It happened without protection. We think tucking in the edge would work well (like the right side of the 2-am-arm pic).
