All I can say is this boot saved my ankles, my sleep, my shoes and my peace of mind. I broke my leg a few years ago. And recently it broke again in the same place, only this time I had no idea until my ankle started to swell, not just the ankle, the entire top of the foot looked like I had an elephant foot. No pain. Bloating only. Went to doc, he gave me a boot, told me to wear it for 6 weeks and if that doesn't solve the problem I'll have to put a needle in my foot. Guess what. It didn't solve the problem and I don't have the option to take 9 weeks off for free. I was looking for a brace that could help me deal with this until I get the surgery. After 4 brackets and here it is. It was breathable, I can wear shoes with it. I can wear it to bed if I want (I can't, I can't even wear socks to bed). It helped a lot with the swelling and after a while I started getting pain in my leg but when I got it the pain went away too. Of course it doesn't heal the leg if I don't wear it for a few days, after about day 4 the swelling comes back but put it on and I'm back to normal. So if you need support. These braces are your friend. I recently developed plantar fasciitis on my other foot and this brace saved me from surgery. Now everything is completely normal again.
