My office chair is really good but the padding in the seat area is a little weak. I used another product that I reviewed previously but it just didn't meet the requirements. I read the reviews about this pillow and decided to give it a try. - There are 2 different layers of foam, the soft, soft side is ordinary foam (not memory foam), it is also the bottom of the pillow, the memory foam side is much denser. This is the top of the pillow. A small (very small) downside is that the cushion can move a bit when sitting. I just make sure I center it underneath me when I sit down and adjust if necessary. So far I've only been using it for a few days. I'm 215 pounds and 6ft 1in tall, I can easily fit this pillow Usage - I work in this chair over 8 hours a day. This pillow gets a lot of use. If it starts to fail I will update this review
