Looks great and works great Only 3 stars due to the cable slipping out of the clamp on either side during installation. I recommend them, but make sure you secure the crimps you plan to install before doing so.

My original JKU hood latches are missing. They are great for the money! It's worth it! And easy to use when you need under the hood, I'm not afraid to break it every time either. A little tight to wear but worth it!

fits TJ but you need to cut/scrape the screws and connector. But after some tuning they work fine and the bonnet stops rattling and you get the look you want. Rating 4 out of 5 isn't the reason for the change because I know it should happen, but the build seems a little inferior.

The product was in perfect condition but the acorn nuts on each side were tightened with extra nuts and after driving on the road both sides came loose. Not only is it a replacement part, but the bottom screw has a different thread than the top one, so they just sit in a box in my garage and the OEM is back on it.

This product looks like famous brand material. It works as long as everything is good. Installation looks tricky, especially since there are no instructions, but if you take it all apart and see what goes together, you'll be sure to get it figured out. The holes are a little tight, but I screwed them in with the bracket first, and they stay in place, like under the hood. That's how it all turned out.

I drive my Jeep very hard and I've burned out three sets of these hood straps. I've bought the Drake brand twice for over $100 each and the last time I bought this Revain set it was less than half the price. They are equally well built. I don't blame the manufacturer for having to replace them. I had to replace pretty much everything on my jeep and have cracks running through the center of the dash and every mirror.

More likely 3.5 stars. It's a good product and I'm happy with it, but there are some typical Chinese quality control issues that need to be addressed. As another reviewer noted, the aluminum terminals were not crimped properly. I was able to easily unplug the cables and that would have allowed you to lose the pins. Appearance and quality are second to none when compared to factory rubber closures. My factory latches literally flew out when a reverse-bound dump truck caused a highway-speed gust of wind. Without the safety latch closing the hood, I could die! I decided to upgrade to something that wouldn't rot in the Florida heat and humidity.
