Up until now I've always stuck with the earlier LED candles which flicker as if the candle had been lit for a while so the flame couldn't be seen. Thought I'd try them for something different. The effect is very nice and looks quite realistic in the right setting. I'm not giving them five stars because, as another reviewer pointed out, the "flame" neckline looks garish during the day. decorations. My advice is not to put them too close to the wall as the reflection on the wall will spoil the illusion.
