Of course, for the money it works well, but.

So I can tell you that for the money you are paying this is a great alternative to more expensive brands. However, I will also tell you that for what you are paying, do not expect superior build quality and materials. Does it work well because it's designed for controlled wind deflection? Yes of course. I installed it on my 16" FJR to add some height to my touring screen and it definitely works. It was easy to install and stays in place. I'll try to include it in a list of pros and cons Pros: - Very affordable - Easy to install - Easy to adjust - Works well with wind deflection - Easy to see through - Already at high speeds and stayed over 1000 miles Cons: - The first one I got definitely wasn't in the middle and I didn't do anything to bring it to the standard screen level. This was easy to fix by contacting Amazon and they immediately sent a replacement.- It's made of PlexiGlass material and you'll notice it right away , if you pull it out and hold it against your windshield. Instructions are included but not the clearest. I can see someone less mechanically inclined to fight a bit fen. It's 80% impossible to see through when it gets wet, I think that's because it's a weird plexiglass material. Windshield so often that it becomes harder to see through and you have to clean it more - I think it has some weird components or film on it because after cleaning it with microfiber my windshield leaves a weird hazy film on the Glass and won't come loose unless I let it and the windshield dry and then use a dry microfiber and barely scrub. I never had any issues with microfiber and windshield prior to this addition. Because of the extra height, it wobbles a bit at higher speeds and lets the windshield swing along, also making it harder to see the faster you go. .-The adjustable bits seem quite flimsy, but once snapped in, they seem to stay in place for the time being. Now to the real question, would I buy it again or recommend it to a friend? Absolutely. If you are looking for a cost-effective solution, then this is for you. I would only advise caution, but at this price you really shouldn't expect anything less. It never ceases to amaze me how people will spend $3 on something and expect it to work like a $90 alternative. I'm giving it 5 stars because it does its job of deflecting wind very well, deducting one star for all the other details that come with it.

Pros
  • Practical
Cons
  • So far so good
