Review on All-season Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 Tires 195/65 R15 91H by Micha Kumicki ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

GOODYEAR Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 235/55 R17. They are on the Tiguan. The manufacturer positions it as an all-season. I put it on at the end of February, when there was almost no snow left. During this time, we managed to test it both in snowfall and in moderate frost -8, and at +20 I rode. Of course, for the overall picture there is not enough heat for 30, tk. changed shoes for the summer R18. First impression. It is often very important (at least for me). And it was "Wow! " After the winter non-studded Nokian size 215/65/16, they turned out to be much quieter and softer, despite the fact that the tread is wider and the profile is lower. Particularly pleased with the passage of joints on bridges and flyovers. The sound became muffled and quiet. In frost down to -8. Handles very well on dry roads. Acceleration and braking dynamics have not changed much. Stability and handling are good. But everything changes if the road is slippery. You have to drive carefully, keep your distance and avoid sudden maneuvers. However, you can get there, it just takes a little longer. In snowfall with ice at sub-zero temperatures, everything becomes very bad. All the same, this rubber is not for such conditions. Although a purely winter Velcro often gives in to such an "ass" in front of the spikes. In rain and sleet at positive temperatures, everything is very worthy. Derzhak good ride comfortable. In general, it seemed to me from +10 to -5 this is her element. At these temperatures, it practically does not make noise and rolls perfectly. It is not afraid of snow-ice porridge with reagents if there is no ice crust under it. It behaves much better and more confidently than the winter non-studded bridge, perhaps due to the tread pattern, in which it is asymmetric. At +20, ride comfort remains at the level, but the tires begin to buzz a little. Not to say that it would be strong, but there is a rumble. If I lived in Hong Kong time flooded with reagents, and traveled only around the city, I definitely wouldn’t bother with changing shoes. But since I live outside the city and travel to the regions, but I decided to switch to the winter. During this time, the tires passed about 10 t. Km. Wear is minimal.

In addition to my words, I've included some photos to help tell the story.

Pros
  • Quiet, comfortable, truly versatile. Brakes and handles better than winter clutches, provided there is no ice on the surface.
Cons
  • behavior on ice. Braking on snow.
