Bought for my Mercedes C230K. The photo shows where my old one broke. When the package arrived, I carefully inspected this fan clutch. He has a very strong feeling. It seems well done. The main cast was clearly of high quality. The same applies to the metal thermostat spring. It fits my car perfectly. The reverse or left-hand threads on the main nut were well threaded so it could be easily screwed onto my Mercedes' water pump. It's securely fastened. Then I tested the device. When first installed it had the correct resistance. I test the engine, everything is fine. So completely satisfied with its performance. I assume that this fan will last a long time, so more than ten years. Since I bought a used car I can only assume that the original fan clutch lasted almost 20 years and 184,000 miles. Everything about it indicates that it will last as long or even longer. But just for good maintenance practice I will replace it in about 10-12 years to ensure proper cooling. (You might want to replace yours before it breaks like mine did. I was lucky the fan didn't damage my heatsink and fall on the street when the OEM model broke. Now that I know better, I will putting it on the spare as with other things like spark plugs, oil filters, etc.) Conclusion: This is a well made product that fits perfectly. I honestly can't say anything negative about it. Again it is well built. Those who value quality parts will be 100% satisfied.
