I really like the design and the material feels smooth and comfortable. Unfortunately the edges of the collar where the fabric is folded and glued near the buckle and the part of the stitching around the Wolfgang tag that is on the inside of the collar are quite rough and have tiny sharp bits protruding and irritate my puppy's throat. As a result, the puppy constantly scratches its neck, especially during play. I've tried to trim off the pointy parts, but still can't quite smooth out the edges. Compared to their nylon collar, although the nylon collar isn't as smooth, the only notable rough edges that come into contact with my pup's skin are near where the collar is cut and finished (with glue?). My puppy has long hair. Her hair falls over her collar, so the edges of the collar usually make contact with her skin. I suppose if your dog has short hair that goes under the collar this won't be as much of a problem.
