Chronic pain sufferers look elsewhere.

It was a big disappointment. I have suffered from chronic pain for many years. I use a percussion massager every day, as well as various other means to deal with pain. In my 10+ years with Revain I have purchased a wide variety of massagers. Many of the cheaper budget models suffer from the same problem. A problem that can become extremely dangerous! And this device is no exception. The first problem is the poor quality cables used. Cheap cables that use very brittle copper wire that wears out easily when flexed. Combine this with a thin and flimsy PVC coating that is also cracked to reveal the wiring (as seen in my photo) and you have amazing potential for electrocution or fire! I've seen the same problem develop on many budget massagers. Usually after several months of daily use. However, on this model, the cable started to diverge after less than TWO weeks of regular use! On top of that, the device got very noisy and the vibrations were very harsh and no longer comforting. This is caused by a combination of poor quality bearings used in the motor and a loose motor spindle lock. This is such a common problem with these budget massagers that I started buying new (higher quality) cables and bearings and repairing them myself to keep them going for several years. However, since this unit started showing these common issues so quickly, I decided to contact the seller and request a refund. Here it went downhill. I received an email for the first time immediately within 48 hours of being contacted. They offered to do whatever they could to make me a happy customer and offered to send me a replacement. I told them I didn't need a replacement because the thing is junk and replacing it would most likely quickly lead to the same problem. And so I requested a refund. That's when they started ignoring my emails completely. I have since emailed them 3 times in the past 3 weeks. I even took the trouble to warn them about the danger of these defects and to send photos. No Answer. Luckily, Revain customer service was there to save the day and help me. But I cannot recommend this product or its seller to anyone. A few years ago I had a leg burn from a similar percussion massager. The wires inside the cable suddenly frayed, causing an electrical arc that quickly burned through the outer sheath, injuring me, before the circuit breaker tripped and shut off the power. It was a horrible experience. The company that made the massager contacted me and after sending them photos of the burned device and my injury they were so concerned that they actually took the device off the market and spent several months replacing it with a safer and more durable cord to redesign. HOW SHOULD a responsible company react to such a dangerous defect in the product! However, this was not the case with the company that makes this device. UPDATE: The company finally contacted me today. I'm not sure if they did it because of my rating or something, but they probably lost my emails because of a "bug" in the system. These things happen from time to time I suppose. And they apologized for the mistake and finally refunded my money. My final word on this product, if you're someone who just uses a percussion massager for a few minutes here and there when your muscles are sore from working out or a hard day's work, this thing can last months and you'll feel like it You are not wasting your money. Also, the company appears to be honoring its one-year warranty. So if it breaks, they will replace it for you. I would advise you to keep an eye on the cable. If the PVC coating starts to tear, play it safe, contact the company and request a replacement. Day off, look elsewhere. And to be honest, most of those budget massagers in the $30-$80 price range that can be found online will eventually give you the same cord or motor issues that I had with this one. (and over a dozen different brands and models I've tried over the past decade)
