Large Versatile Valuable Teleprompter

So good we bought two! This mid-range teleprompter isn't without its problems, but it offers excellent value for money and is extremely versatile. BENEFITS: - Large lens - Rigid lens hood - Flexible camera and device mounting options - Great accessory for attaching more tools - Easier to balance (if you need it) than most fixed teleprompters. CONS: - hull is just bad; throwing it away and boxing the item is something else (it should be noted that the box *has* some pins to secure it and keep the fragile plastic in place. Don't use this crate to pack into a production truck or ship, however; it does not survive). - The angle of the glass can be adjusted, but there is no stopper to keep it from falling into the device's mounts. Move carefully or you will break the glass when it falls! - It takes some time to set up the device properly. The documentation isn't terrible, but it's not great either. For those used to working, this shouldn't be a problem. with similar systems. Doesn't work with wide angles as the tablet is very close to the glass. Okay, unlike some teleprompters, this one is very versatile, but that adds complexity. Be prepared to spend a little time tweaking and balancing it. Over the years I have used several teleprompters for various companies and projects. It has the largest glass of any mid-range prompter, so it can handle larger screens like the iPad Pro. A standard roof rail is also good, because in addition to the mounting accessories included in the kit, there are many other "cheese plates". and rail systems are compatible. The device works great with DSLRs and small cameras. I would be concerned about placing a very large video camera on it (as shown in the picture) due to the weight on the long rails. The universal height for mounting the camera and components with thumbscrews is great for a range of devices and is (mostly) easy to set up and take down.
