Personally, I don't take incline readings into account to get used to calculating my own incline in competitions. The distance measurement seems to be quite accurate. The presence of a rangefinder helped me reduce the result by about 4-6 hits. The GPS numbers will tell you the distance to center (and usually front and back) which is great if you just want to hit the 200-250 green, but at 164 yards par 3s can be very early (151st) or very wide be behind (175th). This is coverage from 3 different clubs. But if I know the exact distance to the flag, I can hunt more pins. I've fired my best two rounds since I've had this rangefinder and I expect it to go even deeper. If you're looking for a range finder to measure pitch, I'll probably look elsewhere. But at a distance, the thing is solid, especially for such a price.
