Review on Darn Tough Garden Light Socks by Derrick Shaw

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality and cute too ;-)

I am in the process of switching all my socks to this company/socks. I have convinced my husband, who is half Scottish and therefore "thrifty", that these socks are worth the extra price. To be honest, I had to convince myself. I've been looking for warmth in socks for a long time and I've always seen them pop up when I've searched. I made the decision and have never regretted it since. My only regret is that I can't convince everyone to buy them. You're worth it. I'm shocked that at my age I never realized that wool socks can be worn in summer. I assumed cotton was the best way. Sure, cotton has its uses, but they're much better without the packaging that goes with them. The best part about it, besides being comfortable in all seasons, is that it's not too bulky. These are not thin socks. But no heavy, thick socks. I have no problem wearing them with regular shoes, which I do all the time. But they can also work with my tourists. It makes more sense if you bring them home and try them out! Now my only problem is changing other socks. I decided to take it easy and buy a few times a quarter, so 4 pairs a year. This should work for a variety of reasons including cost and wear and tear. However, I feel like they just don't "wear out" like other socks, that's how good they are. Finally, while I think you can put them in the dryer, I prefer not to because of the broken ankle, which is a little thicker than before.
