It's so thick and warm. I was completely amazed at how beautiful it looks, as well as the construction and materials. It is a very warm fleece lining and feels thick. In my opinion, this is an excellent dog coat. Bought the baby blue in a medium size for an 11 pound chi pin that measures 11 inches from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. It is very tight and with a warm winter sweater underneath it fits perfectly. The material on the detachable hood is just as warm and luxurious. There is a cut-out on the back for a leash harness. I will buy another one. I can use this warm winter coat for small dogs highly recommend.
