Review on LudoPam Upgrade Replacement Conversion Flashlights by Tony Winn

Bought for my 20+ year old Maglite 3D element that I almost threw away just because it's old and not up to date. Easy replacement - it fits perfectly without enlarging the bezel hole as some models require. I cleaned the lens, put the batteries in and got an upgraded, rugged and weatherproof Maglite for $9. It still has the same focus feature. The beam has a yellow tint, but honestly, who cares? Importantly, it lights your way in the dark (btw, the shadow seems greatly exaggerated when you photograph it). If you have an older Maglite this is a great upgrade as you won't find a new flashlight that compares for the price of an incandescent bulb. A NOTICE.
