Nice Thickness - Thick enough to be warm but doesn't feel like you're buried alive in the fabric. You often pay more for quality, but you get expensive scrap that is worth it. I'll live in it all winter. Also great for training. Of course, technical fabrics absorb moisture well, but cotton feels better. They can be a bit bulky if you wear them under tight pants but I think it's worth it because thin polyester base layers are rough and not that warm. I bought two sets of thermal underwear. they are small and medium sized. I am a male female with a 30 inch waist (130 lbs). The little ones are only a bit tight at the waist and the legs are a bit tight but still wearable. Wednesday is fine. The length is good for my 32 inch inseam. I wish they were happy colors but I still like them.
